Countdown to our Hounds on the Heath Event on 10th July

The Mayhew Animal Home is counting down to our dogtastic summer family and dog event Hounds on the Heath which is taking place on Sunday 10^th July 2016, from 11am till 4pm on Hampstead Heath.

Our ever-popular annual summer event, previously know as Hyde Bark, is bigger and better than ever and we would love to see you there! All of the proceeds will go towards us helping more dogs and cats in need across London and internationally.

Set in the heart of North London on Hampstead Heath, our event boasts lots of doggy fun as well as fun for all the family. With the scenic city skyline as our backdrop, we bring together a mix of stalls, activities and entertainment.

Our day includes:

The Mayhew’s ever popular dog show with our celebrity judges
Temptation Alley dog fun
Agility Course for dogs provided by Friendly Creatures
Meet and greet with dog behaviourist expert Kevin McNicholas from Training Dogs
Lots of stalls for four legged and two legged visitors
The chance to win some amazing prizes in our raffle
Free dog microchipping and meet and greet with our Animal Welfare Officer team
Pat and chat with local police and police dogs
Food and drinks

11:00am: Best Veteran

11:30am: Sweetest Staffie

12:00pm: Most Gorgeous Girl

12:30am: Best Looking Boy

1:30pm: Pooch and Pal (with children 12yrs and under)

2:00pm: Best Rescue Story

2.30pm: Dead ringers

You can also celebrate our wonderful Mayhew rehomed dogs who will be appearing in our Happily Homed Parade. We’ll also have some of our foster dogs coming along on the day who are looking for their forever homes.

This event is a paradise for pooches and people alike, you’d be barking mad to miss it! Located opposite the athletics track next to Parliament Hill Cafe. Nearest stations Hampstead Heath or Gospel Oak.
