    Mayhew relies on over 1,000 hours of volunteer time per month!

    From our reception team to adoption home visits and events, our volunteers have played a key part in everything we do. They dedicate their valuable time to help animals and people in need and assist our full time team in their day to day jobs.

    MEET OUR VOLUNTEERS

    Can I be a volunteer?

    What you need to know:

    • We ask volunteers to honour our reasonable expectation of joining us for one year or more
    • We also ask that volunteers are able to honour joining us for the same shift each week
    • Volunteers must be over 18
    • You do not necessarily need experience, although it is advantageous
    • You will need to provide two professional references
    • You will have a one month review period so that you and Mayhew can make sure the role is right for you
    • Mayhew cannot cover expenses
