What will your legacy be? If you are an animal lover and want Mayhew to keep protecting and rescuing animals in need, you could think about leaving a gift in your Will.
A gift in your will could ensure we can carry on doing this life-saving work year after year, helping vulnerable dogs and cats across our communities both here and overseas. There are so many ways that gifts in wills make a huge difference. One of our supporters left a gift that helped to pay for a new roof on our cattery, keeping cats in comfort, ensuring that we had the facilities to house sick, injured and abandoned cats, keeping them warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Last year, 60% of our income came from gifts in wills. We are not a large charity, but gifts in wills enable us to have a huge impact on the lives of dogs and cats in our communities. By supporting us in this way, you could give us the vital funds we need to build firm foundations and save more dogs and cats in the years ahead.
Many people find the subject of Wills confusing. We have put together a guide to help you understand your Will and how you can support Mayhew.
Read nowYour donations have already helped us rescue and care for so many vulnerable and abandoned dogs and cats. Now you can make sure that your compassion for animals in urgent need can live on, with a powerful gift that could last for many years to come. Our work stretches far beyond rehoming, as we reach out into the community to do all we can to prevent more dogs and cats from being abandoned or left alone and at risk on the streets. This is invaluable, life-saving work – and you can make sure it continues.
