Mayhew is more than an animal rescue centre. We are working to improve animal welfare in the community and to support the people who live in it. Our team work with people in crisis or in need of support and protect the vital bond they share with their animal.

    In our Home

At Mayhew, we rescue and rehome hundreds of animals every year. We help dogs, puppies, cats and kittens that are looking for their second chance. Every animal receives a full behavioural and health assessment so that we can find them their ideal family.

    Community support

We are working to improve animal welfare in the community and support the people who live in it.

    Community vet clinic

Mayhew’s community veterinary clinic provides free preventative veterinary interventions for pet owners who cannot otherwise afford it living within one of five London boroughs - Ealing, Brent, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster.

    Our work overseas

We address issues around free-roaming dog and cat populations, assisting local and national governments to proactively deliver programmes in a more humane and effective way. We also provide capacity building for the local veterinary profession through access to training and work to change people’s behaviours and attitudes towards animals.

    Support our teams

Mayhew is entirely funded by public donations. Please consider supporting us.
