Tortishka is a sweet little girl who just needs some time to get to know you. When she is on top form, she is a curious soul who wants to see what’s going on but after being a strong independent mother she knows her own mind and would now probably enjoy the quiet life where she can set up roots and get her paws in the door. This lovely little lady with the ginger nose does enjoy a little chin and head rub and has a rumbly purr waiting to rev up to full power. She would probably be better suited to living with older teenagers who will let her find her feet and give her the space and time to get to know you. So, if you fancy some Tortishka time in your life, keep reading to see if you could be her purr-fect match and give her the fur-ever home she deserves…
Tortishka arrived at Mayhew towards the end of January after she was found as a stray. She has been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations (at least first) and flea and worming treatment and is now looking to find a loving home where she can get to know you.
If you are interested in adopting Tortishka, please read the information below including the 'Other notes' section, to check your circumstances match theirs. If they do, please take a look at our current rehoming process, and fill out an application form.
