Boss

What do Alan Sugar, Bowser, Luke Littler, M Bison and David Brent all have in common, well they’ve all bossed it at some point but there is only one true legend, who may be small but he is oh so mighty. He is Boss and together with not having many teeth and his one eye gives the most powerful cuddles and his playful nature is just bursting at his furry seems. He loves his fuss, will sit on laps and even cruise around on your shoulders. He loves to play and interact and he has some Usain Bolt speed when he gets going. He could possibly live with cats or dogs and should be fine living with sensible teenagers who will love and nurture our little pocket rocket. He loves his grub and is a bit of a messy pup who likes to fashion a temporary food goatee but he scrubs up well. So, if you want to live like a Boss, keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves…

Other Notes

Boss arrived at Mayhew at the end of January after his owner was unable to look after him in the long term. He has been in the wars a bit and has now been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and has also been given given preventative treatment in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations (at least first) and flea and worming treatment by our veterinary team. Like every cat adopted from Mayhew he will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance and during his time in our care has been treated for a few things. On arrival we noticed he was particularly small and we have run tests to see if their is an underlying cause for this but it is believed his small body size is down to either stunted growth when younger or dwarfism. His left eye has also been removed due to an on-going eye issue and he has had a few dental treatments to remove teeth and clean up the few remaining teeth he has. This has largely meant that sometimes he struggled to groom himself as well as he could, particularly around his mouth and front paws. After his dental work he is feeling much better and keeping himself looking very sharp. Lastly he also had a growth removed from under his tongue. This was sent to be tested and is nothing sinister. It has not re-grown since the last time we removed it but has grown back in the past. For now nothing needs to happen but it may need removing again in the future. The good news is he is on no current medical treatment for anything but cats over 10years old like Boss are often the last to be chosen so please don't overlook this special boy who would love to have the most amazing retirement with you by his side.
