Here are some of the reasons to vote for us. So far this year we have:

      • Rescued around 130 abandoned kittens. We’ll rehome all of them.
      • Rehomed 48 dogs to their forever homes
      • Rehomed 194 cats to their forever homes
      • Reunited 29 dogs with their owners
      • Neutered 1098 pets
      • Microchipped 643 animals

Through our work we help animals in need gain a better quality of life. We promote animal welfare with our preventative work, education and a range of animal welfare projects. Our team of Animal Welfare Officers work in the community  providing assistance to animals in need as well as their owners. We work with the homeless providing treatment and care for their pets and we operate a Pet Refuge Scheme to help owners who need their pets cared for in a short-term crisis. Our initiatives also include a Trap Neuter Return programme to neuter and treat the thousands of feral cats in London.

Through our innovative community initiative, TheraPaws, we take dogs into care homes and hospices to engage with the sick, vulnerable and elderly and to encourage social interaction for emotional and physical wellbeing. And we also work internationally in countries including Georgia, India, Afghanistan and Russia working with partners to alleviate the suffering of animals overseas.
