We have had an influx of very young kittens recently that we are hand-rearing, with our cattery and vet staff on-hand to make sure they receive round-the-clock care and the very best start in life.

In the photo above you can see Kayleigh from our cattery feeding Aries, a very eager little kitten who is one of a litter of 8 kittens that were abandoned on our doorstep a couple of weeks ago, aged just 4 weeks old.

Hand-rearing takes a lot of time and patience as they need to be monitored constantly. We hand-feed the kittens milk with syringes every 2 hours, keep them clean and, of course, spend time playing and socialising with them – all the things a mummy cat would do!

As a result of the continuing kitten crisis, our cattery is overflowing. We have found and rescued more than 276 abandoned cats and kittens so far this year and we desperately need help to care for them and help them find new forever homes. Please consider making a donation today to help us look after all the cats and kittens in our care.

    Thank you.
