Here’s a step-by-step of what we do at Mayhew for every cat or dog who comes through our doors. From our incredible veterinary team, to our loving cattery and kennels staff, each animal is given the care, attention, and love they need…

When a new animal comes to us, the first thing we do is examine them for injuries or illness, so we can provide them with proper treatment.

If broken bones and other internal injuries need addressing - our Veterinary team perform surgeries to ensure they can heal properly.

Underlying illnesses can be fatal if left untreated, so we provide medication to take care of animals who have ongoing veterinary needs.

Parasites like fleas and worms aren't just irritating, they can also put the lives of dogs and cats in danger, so we give treatments to eradicate them.

Whether a dog or cat is with us for a few days or a few years, we ensure they're comfy, cared for and happy.
