On Monday 12 November, digital innovators from a variety of industries gathered together to celebrate the very best websites from 2018. Hosted by Good Web Guide in partnership with themission marketing group, these awards aim to unearth extraordinary websites and push them into the spotlight.

We launched our brand new website in June 2018 and were subsequently shortlisted for Charity Website of the Year. In this category, we faced some incredible competitors including BornFree and Walkabout Foundation. But it was Mayhew who were announced as the winners!

“Mayhew have a highly usable website - their target audience well considered, they are very focused on the key objectives of engaging people that visit and either encouraging them to adopt a pet or support the organisation through online giving. They also have really clear and considered calls to action. I love the short interactive videos for pet adoption and clear tagging for events and news, and they show strong commitment to continual improvement by enabling easy user feedback.”

It’s a real honour for Mayhew to win Charity Website of the Year. We set out to create a site that enables a great user experience and showcases all of our work more clearly – and our partners, adaptable, really helped us to achieve that. We are thrilled that this award recognises our hard work helping dogs, cats and communities in need.
