The team included four brave staff members across our vet clinic and community animal support teams. Supporting a cause close to their hearts, the team have raised over £2,800 so far, which will all go towards helping dogs, cats, and communities.
Our Community Animal Support Officer, Amber Stocker-Charles – who came up with the idea – says,
“Every year I like to try and participate in some sort of charity fundraising around my birthday time. I am an absolute thrill-seeker, and I thought this year why not take on a big challenge and go for a skydive... jumping out of a plane felt like a bold way to match the amazing work done at Mayhew. I was surprised that other people were interested in joining me on the jump and decided to make it a bigger fundraising event for Mayhew. What started as a personal challenge has grown into something so much more, with amazing support pouring in and turning one leap into a shared mission of compassion!”
