Our Christmas Concert was a wonderful way to kick off the festive season, bringing together supporters, volunteers and friends of Mayhew for an evening filled with music, laughter and festive cheer.
Hosted by the brilliant Sue Perkins, the concert featured heart-warming readings from Fearne Cotton, Beatie Edney, Anna Lubienski and Sir Derek Jacobi. We also enjoyed beautiful performances from Katie Marshall and Some Voices Choir, whose mix of Christmas classics and pop favourites had everyone singing along.
We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Brent and the Mayor of Ealing as we celebrated Mayhew’s work supporting dogs, cats and local communities. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Mayhew Christmas Concert without some of our wonderful TheraPaws dogs, who were as popular as ever with our guests.
A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, photographers and welcome musicians, who helped the evening run so smoothly. We’re also incredibly grateful to the local businesses that generously donated raffle prizes and refreshments, and to Intygra for kindly printing our concert programmes.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who joined us. It was lovely to see so many familiar and new faces come together to celebrate and support Mayhew’s work. Your generosity will help ensure dogs and cats receive the care, comfort and second chances they deserve, this winter and beyond.
