Fun-filled Christmas Fair raises over £5,500!

Over 300 Mayhew supporters started the Christmas party early at our fabulously festive fair on Sunday 24 November. Our cats and dogs received a brilliant early Christmas present too, as over £5,500 was raised on the day!

Our annual Christmas Fair raises much needed money to help us rescue and rehome dogs and cats all across London; as well as support pet owners who need our help more than ever at this time of year.

This year’s event was generously sponsored by our friends Natusan, the natural clumping cat litter delivery service.

    Guests enjoyed:

    • A behind the scenes look at Mayhew, including a tour of our Cattery
    • Meeting Santa Paws and picking up Christmas goodies
    • Mulled wine, warm food and festive treats
    • Live entertainment
    • Meeting our TheraPaws dogs

Old and new friends filled their stockings with fantastic Christmas gifts, including these adorable dog and cat shaped mugs . Don’t worry if you missed out on the day, our Christmas Gift Guide is filled to the brim with presents for dogs, cats and animal lovers – all of which will help support our work.

Guests were kept well entertained with live music from George Richie, and kept warm with flowing mulled wine and delicious vegan mince pies.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported our work.

If you are still in the Christmas spirit, why not come along to Mayhew’s Carols at Christmas on Tuesday 3 December at the beautiful St Giles-in-the-Field? An evening of favourite festive tunes, heart-warming readings and very special guests is the perfect way to welcome in the season.
