Piglet, Like her cartoon counterpart, is a bundle of cuteness wrapped up in a tiny little ball. She is a curious little soul who enjoys the finer things in life like watching the birds go by and trotting around the house demanding centre stage! This little purr machine would be best suited to living with sensible children 10+ who can keep her entertained and play with her, all while remaining respectful of her and the space she may need. So, if you would like to be the pooh bear to this little piglet, keep reading to see if you could be her purr-fect match and give her the fur-ever home she deserves…
Piglet along with her two siblings arrived in our care in mid December after someone found them abandoned in a crate outside their building. She has now been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations and flea and worming treatment. Piglet has always had a build-up of debris on her face, which we think may be because she is producing too much oil or skin flakes. It does not bother her and has been improving as she gets older but may require weekly exfoliation to help keep her face clean. When she was spayed and the hair on her abdomen was clipped we found some small scabs and a mild infection. We treated this with antibiotics but just like her face we don't feel this will cause issues in the future. She also has a tendency to get a waxy build up in her ears which may need gentle cleaning to keep them clean. We don't believe this will cause any issues in the future and should be routinely monitored in the home.
Piglet is a happy little thing, loves company but equally content to sit at a window and watch the world go by. I'm greeted with the loudest purr every morning, and chats constantly throughout the day. She brings me her toys so I'm not missing out and when she's had enough of having such a busy day, she just wants to curl up on my lap for a well earned rest. She's adorable!
Piglet has been reserved. Please take a look at our other animals looking for homes.
