Gary is a bit of a shy boy who just needs some time to find his feet. If you play hard to get he normally comes over to check you out and then enjoys a bit of fuss and a few cheek rubs. Before he ventures out though he likes to headbutt his little hidey spot and then you know it's game on for some cuddles. He has a really playful spirit and just cant resist some string and then the kitten version of Gary emerges and it is so much fun to see. He will just need a quiet all adult home where he can get to know you and he loves his grub so that's another way to bond with him. So, if you reckon you can bring out Gary’s gregarious side, keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves…
Gary arrived at Mayhew towards the end of March after he was found as a stray cat. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given preventative treatment in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations (at least first) and flea and worming treatment by our veterinary team. He currently has no medical concerns and every cat adopted from Mayhew will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. Gary has shown positive signs of being curious about other cats, we are still to properly cat test him but if your cat is friendly towards others he could make for a good companion.
