Panther is a big handsome boy who just needs some time to find his feet. With the people he knows best he will come over to say hello and roll around for fuss and show of his adorable little fangs. We should have called him ‘Vamp-ther’, either way if he likes you, you can become his ‘Familiar’ face that he knows and loves, and you can hang out as besties watching tv after dark. He can be a bit worried at times especially when its a bit noisy, so would probably prefer an all-adult home where he can get used to his new routines and be happy once more. So, if you want to see what Panther’s get up to in the shadows, keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves…
Panther arrived at the end of January after his owner was unable to care for him in the long term. He has been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of vaccinations (at least first) and flea and worming treatment and was microchipped & neutered before arriving in our care. During his stay Panther has had a clean and polish of his teeth and has been treated for Flea Allergic Dermatitis (FAD). This is a reaction to the flea bite that often causes some loss of fur of some scabs on the skin which is what Panther had. He should maintain regular flea treatment to help prevent having any further flare ups or discomfort and will need a loving home where he can live his best life.
