    Pamela

Pamela is a sweet girl who loves to sit on you lap and have some fuss and cuddles. She has perfected her innocent, ‘butter wouldn’t melt’ look but don't let that fool you as she is a cheeky little soul who can get a bit overexcited with the odd playful nip when the mood strikes. All in all, she is a spirited character who likes to hang out and would make a great companion. She would probably be fine to live with sensible teenagers as her cheeky side is not to be underestimated but she does give good cuddles too. So, if you want to get to know our Pam and find all her hidden ginger spots, keep reading to see if you could be her purr-fect match and give her the fur-ever home she deserves…

    Other Notes

Pamela arrived at Mayhew at the start of December as a stray cat that was found in someone's garden. She has been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations (at least first) and flea and worming treatment. During her neutering there was a small complication which required some additional attention. She had a bit of a high temperature and an upset tummy which was treated with antibiotics and is all fine now. She also presented with Gingivitis which is worse on the right side of her mouth but currently needs no medical intervention. This will need to be monitored with you vet as there may be the need for additional dental care in the future. It is unknown what the cause of this was but it is possibly a form a of cat flu but she has not presented with any other flu like symptoms. She is bright and active and eating well and needs no additional medical care and all she really wants is a nice cosy lap to sit on so she can get her her daily quota of purr's!
