  • Michael & Sara (M&S Miaow Deal)

There are cats, and then there are M&S cats. That's right Michael & Sara are two siblings who must be re-homed together. Sara with her cute black toe that looks like she stubbed it is the leader of the pack. She looks out for Michael and is keen to monopolise as much fuss and cuddles as she can get. Michael is getting bolder every day and when he was little used to be shy. Now he shows off his tummy and loves his fuss just as much as his sister. They are playful little characters and are so smoochy and friendly you generally need two laps to fit them both on. They could possibly live with children around 6+ so long as they are mindful around them as despite their confident exteriors they both have gentle natures that you just can help but want to protect and nurture. So, if you want to experience the double moo cow cat markings effect, keep reading to see if you could be their purr-fect match and give them the fur-ever home they deserve…

    Other Notes

Michael & Sara arrived in June last year and have been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations and flea and worming treatment. They have both had treatment for an upset tummy which is now fine. Sara also has had some cat flu symptoms largely consisting of conjunctivitis that has now cleared up with some eye treatment. Michael has also had some eye issues in the form of distichiasis of the upper eye lids, that's what gives him his slightly strange old man eyes look in some of the photos. This just means his eyelid hairs were growing inwards and have now been removed using electrolysis. So far their has been no re-growth of any hairs and he is pain free but he may need some follow up treatment in the future so this will need to be monitored in his new home. For now both cats require no current additional medical care they just want a place to call home together as this smoochy pair just love hanging out.

    Foster Carer Comments

Here's a word from a recent foster carer: Michael & Sara are both Very playful yet gentle cats, they appear to miss us when out for the day and look for attention when back. Sarah is more vocal in asking for attention and she is also bolder with younger children and likes to follow them around and play with them. Michael is a bit shyer but when there is calm, he is the first to come for attention and loves a bedtime cuddle. Sometimes they sleep together and cuddle up and other times they prefer some space to themselves, they also chase each other playfully which is fun to watch, I’ve not seen them fight as they seem to just give each other space naturally when they need it and come back together for cuddles when they like. They are very active and do love to run around and play and be a part of the family. They would make two lovely pets for a family.
