    Little Cat

Despite her name, Little Cat has a large amount of love to give! She is very cuddly and a proper lap cat who loves nothing more than being fussed over and hanging out. She'll even tap your arm for more fuss if she thinks you're not paying her enough attention! She would enjoy having someone home a bit more often (so she can get even more cuddles in) and will welcome you with a dribbly head rub when you return if you had to leave her a bit longer. This little lady would probably prefer to live with older kids though as she can get a bit spooked by loud noises, but she's also got a playful side to her and particularly enjoys chasing small balls or the roundabout toy and generally just knows how to have fun. So, if the best things come in little cat packages, I think we know someone who could be the purr-fect match, so keep reading to see if you can give her the fur-ever home she deserves...

    Other Notes

Little Cat arrived at Mayhew towards the start of April after her owner's health sadly declined and she could not be cared for in the long term. She has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and has been given preventative treatment in the form of microchipping, vaccinations (at least first) and flea and worming treatment by our veterinary team. She was neutered prior to arriving and our vets have noticed a small amount of tartar on her teeth which is not significant enough to need a full scale and polish. She has otherwise been given a clean bill of health and like every cat adopted from Mayhew will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. Little Cat has previously lived with a dog, whom she got along well with, so she could share her next home with a cat friendly dog so long as your dog is used to living with cats.

    Foster Carer Comments

When Little cat was in foster care her foster carer said that she is such a sweet, affectionate little girl. She loves attention and adores being fussed over. She can be a bit cautious if something is going on...for the first couple of weeks, she would hide when I arrived home, but now comes to greet me when I walk through the door. She is quite playful and can keep herself entertained for ages with a small, soft ball. She mostly sleeps on my bed with me and loves to be close to me, she's basically my little shadow and has been growing in confidence every day.
