Firecracker is not quite the right name for this shy, gentle little boy. He is a cracker of a cat no doubt and sparks fly when it’s play time but for all that he just wants a quiet life with people who will let him find his feet and get to know you. He is a sensitive soul, who will snuggle in laps when he knows you or go for a walk about in your arms. There is so much more to discover about Firecracker that the journey with him as he finds his happy place will be so rewarding. He would probably prefer and all adult home with people who will give him cuddles and a safe place to call home so you can watch him flourish. So, if you want to see just how big of a bang this guy will make, keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves…
Firecracker arrived along with his Mum at the end of December after they were abandoned outside the front door of the Mayhew. He has been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations (at least first) and flea and worming treatment. During his time at Mayhew we noticed he had a dirty nose that didn't seem to clean up. As he has got older it has got much better and the vets feel he was just plunging head and nose first into his food making it always a bit wet and grubby. Now all he needs is a quiet, loving home where he can really get to know you and somewhere cosy he can call his own.
