Cuba

Could Cuba get any Cuter? I’m not so sure but she will have a darn good try and will chirp at you as you come in to say hello. Then it’s fuss time and she likes a good head rub and a sniff of your nose to check you out. She is a gentle lady, but there is a cheeky glint in her eye and she will sometimes stop her fuss to palm you away with her paws so you can admire her magnificence. She enjoys a cuddle and will no doubt find your lap in no time and would probably be fine to live with teenagers so long as they are calm and respectful as Cuba does like the finer things in life. So, if destination Cuba is on your bucket list, why not visit her every day, just keep reading to see if you could be her purr-fect match and give her the fur-ever home she deserves…

Other Notes

Cuba arrived at Mayhew towards the end of March after her owner was sadly unable to afford to care for her in the long term. She has since been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and has also been given preventative treatment in the form of vaccinations (at least first) & flea and worming treatment by our veterinary team. She was previously neutered and microchipped before arriving and has had some treatment for some inflamed skin which was a bit scabby. This was caused by a reaction to flea bites and has responded well to regular flea treatment. She is on the mend now so it is just a case of keeping up with her parasite control to stop any flare ups happening. Like all Mayhew cats she will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
