Chase is a handsome Bengal cat who has a healthy set of lungs on him and just loves company. He is very playful and agile and will need a large home with lots to keep him occupied as well as a garden to explore once he has settled. He enjoys his fuss and loves hanging out in boxes of all shapes and sizes. He was our resident office cat and enjoyed being part of the crew which is why he’d probably be fine to live with sensible older teenagers who will let him find his feet and keep him entertained. It would be great if you had some previous experience with Bengal’s and you must have owned a cat before as he thrives with confident people who understand and can read cat body language. So, if you’re ready to take on the Chase-r, keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves…
Chase arrived in mid September after he was no longer wanted and left in our reception. He has been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of vaccinations and flea and worming treatment and has had some dental treatment to remove a few teeth. He was previously neutered & microchipped before arrival and will go home with 4 week free pet insurance. He has also had some on-going soft motions & vomiting which have been treated with meds and food diet. We sent (Poo ) Samples off for analysis and found that Chase was affected with both Clostridium Perfingerens and Feline Coronavirus. Both these pathogens are extremely common in all cats and are usually asymptomatic but with Chase he is still prone to a sensitive stomach and is currently managing well on special food diet and some added B12 Supplement in his food. It is likely that he will need to stay on some some sort of sensitive food to help with his tummy. It's important to manage his stress levels and give him everything he needs to be a happy, healthy boy for years to come.
