Dumped rabbits rescued by The Mayhew

Two rabbits have been rescued after being callously thrown over a fence in the freezing cold at King Edward Park VII, in Wembley on Sunday.   A passer-by witnessed the incident, near Willesden Sports Centre, and rescued the bunnies, who are less than a year old and brought them into The Mayhew.

The rabbits, both female, have been called Notting Hill and Carnival as they were found during the festivities. They are quite thin despite their fluffy appearance – weighing only roughly half what they should. They were both very cold and scared but soon warmed up after staff wrapped them in blankets.
