Chief Executive, Caroline Yates, appeared on BBC London 94.9 to talk about our dog show event, Hyde Bark, on Sun 5 July. She was joined by author Aby King, who has written a series of childrens books based on Prince William’s dog, Lupo. Caroline took along one of pets available for adoption, Ernie, a black and white Staffie, who got on famously with all the other dogs. Aby told presenters, Joanne Good and Anna Webb about her support for The Mayhew and the reading she will be giving from her latest book, Lupo and the Curse At Buckingham Palace, at the event at 12:30.
You can hear it here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/p02trfr6 after the news at 3:30pm.
This year’s Hyde Bark has a host of celebrities, including Blackadder’s Sir Tony Robinson and Dr Margaret Mountford, best known for the Apprentice. Others include Bill Oddie, Sue Jameson and husband James Bolam, Kate Lawler, Marc Abraham, Aby King, Heidi Mumford, and Anneka Svenska.
