Woof! It’s nice to meet you! River and I were delighted to be asked to share this Q&A with you today. We feel quite fancy being asked to do an interview! Especially as rescue dogs can often be misunderstood, so what a paw-fect opportunity to tell you about ourselves. Thank you for being here. We hope you’ll enjoy getting to know us.
Over two years now! Golly, time really does fly. Back in June 2022, I was found abandoned outside a supermarket. Someone had tied me to a post and left me there. It was a hard day; I was very frightened. I was left waiting there for over three hours and couldn’t understand what I had done wrong.
Fortunately, I was taken to the Mayhew Animal Home where some very kind people worked hard to help me feel better again.
Older dogs make great pets too! I might be well past my puppy years, but I have just as much love to give as any other dog. My heart matters just as much, and I would love the opportunity to share it with a special someone.
I’m hard of hearing! Woof, I don’t know if that is interesting, but I have been told I’m a clever cloggs as I’ve learnt hand signals and respond to them very well!
I’m quite shy, so I’m hoping to find a quiet home where I will be given time and patience. Once I’ve been given the opportunity to build trust, I am a very loving and affectionate girl. I just need to be given a chance.
As I have a nervous nature, I would like to be the only animal in an adult-only home. I’ve been through a lot and would like to be the centre of someone’s world.
Woof, that’s a tough one. Hmm… I know! Acceptance. Accepting an individual for who they are and loving them for simply being themselves. Oh, and never giving up on them.
