Moana

Moana is a sweet, affectionate and playful girl who loves spending time with her humans and going on adventures. She can get worried at points when out and about, sometimes barking towards strangers and loud noises but with guidance and reassurance, quickly settles. She can also be wary when being introduced to new people but with a calm, gentle approach and the offer of a treat, she soon warms up and loves to be fussed! Moana is curious but shy around other dogs and mostly prefers to keep her distance from them. She will need plenty of positive, slow intros with suitable dogs to build up her confidence. She is looking for a home where there will be someone around for most of the day with an owner who has the time and commitment to continue with her training and socialisation.

Other Notes

Moana can live with sensible children of 12+ providing they have been around or lived with dogs before. She could possibly live with a dog confident cat and potentially another dog. Due to her nervous nature around dogs, the other dog would need to be very calm and respectful and potentially come in for multiple meets to ensure they got on well. Moana can live in a ground floor flat (with access to a private garden) but can be vocal at times so this should be taken into consideration. She is looking for a home where she will not be left for long periods, building up to 1-2 hours on occasion. Moana has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
