Toothless is no dragon but is enjoying learning new things and loves his puzzle feeder so maybe you can train a cat? Either way he doesn’t need much encouragement to come and say hello and give you a big friendly headbutt when he does. He is quite a busy character and loves his grub and will perch on your lap or try and climb up you to get some extra cuddles. He would probably be ok to live with sensible older teenagers so long as they calm and respectful as despite the bravado he is a sensitive soul who would enjoy a quieter home where he can find his feet and show his friendly nature. So, if you want to see his toothy smile every day, keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves…
Toothless arrived at Mayhew at the end of February after his owner was no longer able to afford to care for him. During his stay he has been behaviourally assessed and has also been given preventative treatment in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations (at least first) and flea and worming treatment by our veterinary team. He currently has no medical concerns and every cat adopted from Mayhew will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. Black cats are often the last to be chosen so please don't overlook this handsome boy and hopefully you could be the one to give him a loving new home.
