Arran is a handsome chap who is shy around people, he prefers to keep his distance during the day but when night comes he loves to explore and play. He was abandoned outside of our reception so we have very limited information on his background, but based on his behaviour we believe he may have had limited contact with people his whole life and may have spent most of his time outside. Based on his behaviour we believe he would be best suited to a working cat home which can offer a sheltered area where he can rest and relax, and an outdoor area where he explore and play to his hearts content. Medical conditions?Type of Home?Arran arrived at Mayhew at the middle of January after he was left outside our reception in a carrier. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. Arran is a working cat and is looking for an alternative home which can offer lots of outdoor access, and a safe area where he can be away from people if he chooses. He could potentially live in a home with other animals, and children, depending on the space available to him.
