    Starsky

Starsky is a sweet, older gentleman who is looking to go at a steadier pace and enjoy the simple things in life! He likes to potter out and about and is a social boy who is happy to say hello to passing dogs and people but can be worried of dogs he feels are too full on for him, preferring to move himself away and sometimes barking towards them to create distance. He can show some initial worry when meeting strangers but warms up quickly and is very affectionate with his people. He would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a patient and understanding owner that will allow him time to settle.

    Other Notes

Starsky can live in a flat as long as there is direct access to a garden, for ease of toileting, but can be vocal at times so this should be considered. Being a little older, we feel he would be best suited to a home without children but could live with sensible teenagers of 16+. He could also potentially live with a small, calm, well-adjusted dog that will give him space, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. Starsky arrived at Mayhew with multiple teeth already missing, but no further treatment is currently needed. Starsky has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
