Spring is here to brighten your day and hopefully find his forever home! He has not had the best start in life, resulting in him being a nervous and timid boy. Since arriving at Mayhew he has slowly started to come out of his shell but still has a way to go. He is looking for patient and understanding owners who will take things at his pace as well as provide him with the ongoing training and socialisation he needs. He is a really sweet character and warms to people when given the time and space to do so. He gets on well with other dogs but does have a worried side to him so his owner will need to be able to read his body language and help to guide him out of certain situations when needed. Spring is a special boy with a lovely energy about him. He would love a calm, quiet home to allow him to flourish into the confident, happy and well adjusted dog he has the potential to be.

Other Notes

Spring is looking for a quiet home with access to an enclosed, private garden. His owners will ideally have experience with his breed. He could live with sensible teenagers of 14+ providing they have lived with a dog before and will be respectful of his needs. He could live with a confident and well adjusted dog that will be a good influence on him, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. Spring has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
