Rehomed

Rafa

Rafa is a sociable, affectionate and fun loving dog. He is always up for going on adventures with his people, meeting dog pals along the way. He can become worried in busy/noisy areas so would prefer quieter walks and will need a patient and understanding owner who will allow him to go at his own pace and provide reassurance where needed. This intelligent boy knows basic cues, is eager to learn and is very responsive to training. He would suit someone that will have the time to keep him busy mentally, when not out and about. Rafa is a real sweetheart with lots of character and will bring much joy to the right owner or family.

Other Notes

Rafa can live in a ground floor flat, as long there is access to an enclosed garden but can be vocal at times, so this should be taken into consideration. He is looking for a home where there will be someone around most of the time, building up the time he is left alone, slowly. He can live with sensible children of 10+ providing they will not be intimidated by his excitable nature at times and will give him space when needed. He could potentially live with a dog confident cat as long as his owner will facilitate slow intros and teach him not to chase! Rafa is a brachycephalic breed type and his adopter will need to be knowledgeable about brachy care and have researched his breed. Adopters will need to take care with excessive exercise and hot weather, maintain his weight and ensure his his skin folds are kept clean. Rafa has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and is up to date with flea & worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed. Lastly, every dog adopted from us will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
