Rehomed

Poppy

Beautiful Poppy is a sweet natured, playful girl with lots of love to give. She can be nervous when meeting new people but it doesn't take long for her to warm up when given the time and space to approach on her own terms. With people she knows, she likes to sit with (or on them!) to receive gentle strokes. She loves a good game with her toys and enjoys going for sniffy walks out and about but can become overwhelmed in busy areas so would prefer to explore quieter environments. Poppy can be worried by other dogs and chooses to keep her distance from them, when on walks. She will need an owner that is knowledgeable about canine body language and will provide her with guidance and reassurance in this area. This gorgeous girl will make a wonderful, affectionate and loyal companion for an active person or family who have the time to dedicate to her training and socialisation needs as well as keeping her mentally and physically stimulated.

Other Notes

Poppy is looking for a home where there will be someone around throughout the day, slowly building up the time she is left on her own. She could live in a flat as long as there is direct access to a private garden. She can live with sensible teenagers of 14+ providing they have lived with a dog before and will give her space when needed. Poppy has been microchipped and vaccinated and is up to date with flea & worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed. She will be neutered prior to rehoming. Lastly, every dog adopted from us will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
