Pretty Pepsi is an affectionate and loving dog who also has a sensitive side. She loves to go on walks and is always on the look out for a tasty treat! Pepsi was wary of other dogs when she first arrived at Mayhew. However, since settling into her foster home she's become more relaxed with other dogs and she’ll occasionally engage in play, although she won't tolerate rude behaviour and she’ll tell another dog off if they become too much for her. She enjoys her creature comforts, a sofa or armchair to curl up in and she also copes well with being left home alone. She could live with someone who works part-time, providing she's adequately exercised before leaving her.

Other Notes

Pepsi is looking for someone who has owned dogs before, preferably sighthounds, and who is knowledgeable about dog behaviour. She can live with sensible teenagers that have lived with a dog before and who will be respectful of her sensitive nature. Her new owner will need to give her time to settle in and be able to read her body language around other dogs, encouraging her to move away when she is uncomfortable. Pepsi has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
