Nova

Beautiful Nova is an affectionate and playful young girl with a sensitive side. She is very friendly but can be shy of some strangers and much prefers a calm and gentle approach. She absolutely loves being with her people and is partial to a good belly rub! She enjoys being out and about but has shown some worry around loud noises and busy environments so will need an understanding owner who will provide her with reassurance and guidance when needed. She is social around other dogs and will choose to move herself away from them if she feels they are too much for her. Nova is intelligent and very responsive to training. She will suit a person or family that has the time and patience to continue with her socialisation and training and provide her with the mental and physical stimulation she needs to thrive. She will make a fun, loyal and extremely loving companion for the right match.

Other Notes

Nova can live in a flat as long as there is direct access to a private garden. She can live with sensible, dog savvy, secondary age children, providing they give her space when needed and won't be intimidated by her bouncy nature at times. She could live with a calm, adult dog that will be a good influence on her, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. She could also potentially live with a dog confident cat as long as her owner will facilitate slow intros and teach her not to chase! Nova has been microchipped, neutered and vaccinated and is up to date with flea & worming treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed. Lastly, every dog adopted from us will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
