Magnificent Misty is a wiggly, bouncy and happy dog with lots of love to give. She is a playful girl and is always up for a game of chase with a tennis ball or tug of war with her rope toys! She is intelligent and responds really well to training, eager to please her people. Misty is sociable with other dogs, however she doesn't quite understand doggy etiquette just yet and can be too excitable for some! She is looking for an experienced, active and strong owner who will be willing to continue with her training and socialisation. Misty is an absolute love bug and she will barrell her way into your hearts if given the chance!
Read moreMisty is looking for a dedicated owner who has owned dogs before and is confident in handling a strong, enthusiastic and fun loving dog. Her adopter will be expected to continue her training and will receive 3 free sessions with our Mayhew Animal Behaviourist. She is looking for a home without young children but could live with sensible teenagers of 14+ providing they have lived with a dog before and will not be intimidated by her excitable, boisterous nature at times! She can live in a flat, providing there is direct access to a private, secure garden. She could potentially live with a well adjusted dog who will be a good role model for her, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. She could also potentially live with a dog confident cat as long as there is enough space to carry out careful and monitored intros and her owner will continue to teach her not to chase. She will need a home where there is someone around most of the time, building up her alone time slowly. Misty has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
