Max

Marvellous Max is a friendly, intelligent and affectionate boy. He loves spending time with his people, exploring new smells and playing with his toys. This mischievous young chap is looking for an active and experienced owner who will have plenty of time on their hands to dedicate to his training and socialisation as well as keeping him mentally and physically stimulated. He would potentially benefit from doing breed specific dog sports when he is fully grown. He will make a wonderfully loyal and rewarding companion in the right home.

Other Notes

Max is looking for an experienced owner who has, ideally, independently owned large working breeds before. He can live with sensible, junior/secondary school children as long as they have lived with a dog before, will not be intimidated by his bouncy nature at times and will be consistent with his training. He could live with a calm, well adjusted, adult dog, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. He could also, potentially, live with a dog confident cat as long as his owner will facilitate slow intros and teach him not to chase! Max has been microchipped and vaccinated and is up to date with flea & worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed. He will need to return to Mayhew on a specified date for neutering. Lastly, every dog adopted from us will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
