Hutch

Hutch is an affectionate older dog, looking for a calm, quiet home to enjoy his retirement in. He enjoys gentle walks and enrichment to keep active and work his mind. He can be a little worried of other dogs and will try to move himself away or bark at them, if they are too much for him, however, if introduced slowly to a good match, he is happy in their company and likes to have a walking buddy! He will need his new owner to be patient and understand that he may feel more vulnerable at times, as an older boy. Given the chance, Hutch will flourish and bring so much love and joy into his new home.

Other Notes

Hutch can live in a flat as long as there is direct access to a garden, for ease of toileting, but can be vocal at times so this should be considered. Being a little older, we feel he would be best suited to a home without children but could live with sensible teenagers of 16+. He could also potentially live with a small, calm, well-adjusted dog that will give him space, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. Hutch has had a dental whilst with us, extracting multiple teeth. Hutch has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
