Hugo

Handsome Hugo is a fun loving and active, young pup. He enjoys a good game with his toys and exploring the outdoors but can become worried by loud noises and busier areas at times so will need someone who will provide him with reassurance and help him gain confidence in this area. He can initially be a bit shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly with a calm approach, showing his friendly, playful and affectionate side. He is curious of other dogs and enjoys meeting them but can get a bit worried if he feels they are too much for him. This sweet natured, intelligent boy is looking for patient and committed owners that will have the time to dedicate to his ongoing training and socialisation needs. He will make a loyal, loving and lifelong companion in the right home.

Other Notes

Hugo is looking for a dedicated owner or family who have plenty of time on their hands to continue his training and socialisation. He is looking for a home where there will be someone around for most of the day. He could potentially live in a flat providing there is quick access to a suitable outside space for ease of toilet training. He can live with sensible children of 12+ who will be consistent with his training. He can live with a sociable adult dog who will be a good influence on him, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. He could also live with a dog-confident cat, as long as his owners facilitate slow intros and teach him not to chase! Hugo has been health checked, microchipped, will have received his first vaccination and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been behaviourally assessed. He will need to return to Mayhew on a specified date for neutering. Lastly, every dog adopted from us will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
