Freya

Freya is a sweet, energetic girl looking for a home where she can be provided with the company and affection she craves. She is keen to learn and responds well to praise and tasty treats from her handler! She loves to play fetch with a ball or toy and enjoys going for a nice sniffy walk. She is friendly with other dogs and keen to interact but is still learning and can become worried of some so her owner will need to continue to give her guidance in this area to help build her confidence. She would suit an active person or family that have the time to keep her mind and body active and continue her training and socialisation.

Other Notes

Freya's owner will ideally have owned or researched her breed type previously. She is looking for a home where there will be someone around throughout the day, building up the time she is left on her own. She could live in a flat with direct access to a private garden. Freya could potentially live with another dog that is well adjusted and will be a good influence on her, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. Freya could live with sensible children of 10+ as long as they will be consistent with her training and not be intimidated by her bouncy nature at times! Freya has been neutered, microchipped, will have received her first vaccination and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
