Arlo

Adorable Arlo is a sweet, mischievous and cheerful young chap who charms everyone he meets! He is affectionate and outgoing and always up for a game or adventure with his people. He is friendly and keen to meet other dogs but is still learning how to read their signals so will need an owner who will be able to provide guidance and support when needed. Arlo is looking for a home with a person or family that has the time, patience and commitment to continue with his training and socialisation and help him develop into the confident and well adjusted dog, he has the huge potential to be. In return, they will gain a playful, loving and lifelong friend.

Other Notes

Arlo could potentially live with another dog that is calm and will be a good influence on him, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. He could also possibly live with a dog confident cat, providing his owner will facilitate slow intros and not allow him to chase. He could live with dog savvy, sensible older children of 8+, as long as they will help with his training and give him space when needed. His new owners will need to ensure his groomed regularly and be aware of the financial costs that could come with this. Arlo has been diagnosed with a grade 2 luxating patella in his hind legs. This is not affecting him at all and no treatment is currently needed but adopters will need to monitor for any issues in the future and go to their private vet if needed. Arlo has been neutered, microchipped, will have had his first vaccination and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed. Lastly, every dog adopted from us will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
