Amazing Ace is an active, playful boy who is ready to bounce into his new home! He absolutely loves going to the park and meeting new doggy pals but is still learning so will need continued training and socialisation to ensure his meets stay positive. He can be a little worried on street walks so needs a patient and understanding owner who will help build his confidence in this area. He also has a sensitive side and although generally excitable when meeting new people, can be nervous at times but quickly warms up given time, space and a few treats! Ace is looking for an experienced owner, knowledgeable in dog behaviour and body language, who will have the time, patience and commitment to be able to continue building his self confidence and help him become the social, well adjusted and happy dog he has the huge potential to be. He will make a fun, loving and rewarding companion in the right home.
Read moreAce's adopter will be expected to continue his training and will receive 3 free sessions with our Mayhew Animal Behaviourist. Ace can live in a flat as long as there is direct access to a private garden. He can become stressed and vocal when left alone so is looking for a home where there will be someone at home most of the time, building up the time he is left gradually. He could live with sensible teenagers of 16+ providing they have lived with a dog before and will not be intimidated by his excitable and bouncy nature at times. Whilst in our care Ace has shown signs of mild allergic skin disease. His skin improved with treatment and an alternate diet and he is no longer showing these signs. Ace has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
