Other Notes

Loki arrived at Mayhew at the beginning of June alongside several other cats after his owner was unable to care for him due to a change in circumstances. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. Loki currently lives with Gizmo and Nina and could be rehomed with them. Loki has juvenile gingivitis, which is a form of gum inflammation that occurs in young cats while their adult teeth develop. He has had his teeth cleaned and is on a course of anti-inflammatory medication. This condition often improves with age, but it can recur, however he is recovering well after treatment.
