Helena is a confident girl who is ready to take on the world. She has been busy for the last few months raising her kittens who are now all ready to find homes of their own, and Helena is ready to be the star of the show in her forever home (as she deserves). This gorgeous girl loves a good bit of fuss, and is quick to greet anyone with strong head nudges and her sweet little meow. She is quick to make friends and she loves to show off her lovely purr and biscuit making skills. Helena could live in a home with children who are as keen to be friends as she is. So if you think Helena is the most beautiful woman in the world, then keep reading to see if you could be her purr-fect match and give her the fur-ever home she deserves...
Helena arrived at Mayhew at the start of April after she arrived as a pregnant stray. She has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. Helena sometimes defecates over the side of the litter tray accidentally, we are trialling different litter trays which can help her with positioning herself inside.
Helena, is a sweet and beautiful lady who loves a bit of attention. She loves to be groomed. She has a healthy appetite but she also has a sensitive stomach so any food changes will have to be monitor closely. She is a very good mother to her 4 kittens. Helena does struggle a bit with positioning herself in the litter tray so would be better off with a garden. That aside Helena is a gem. She is calm, relaxed lady who has the best sleeping styles I've ever seen. She will keep accompany you in any room that you are in, to the point that she leads the way. She did have the most fun chasing the moths in the recent summer nights that we had. I think she would suit a small family or a single person environment so that she can get the care, attention and love she wants and deserves.
