Bullet has really opened up since coming to us and revealed himself to be a confident, affectionate boy who will come up to rub against you and enjoy a nice little head scratch. He values his space and independence and likes to go on adventures and explore the world, but also appreciates interactive play with humans and giving nose kisses. He was diagnosed with stomatitis which meant he has had to have his teeth taken out, but he has a great appetite and enjoys little treats along the way too. He would prefer a home with slightly more grown up kids and could live with a proven, laid back cat friendly dog. So, if Bullet is hitting all the right targets with you, keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves...
Bullet arrived at Mayhew at the middle of March as his owners were emigrating. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. Bullet arrived at Mayhew with a history of dental disease, having already had multiple teeth extracted. He was diagnosed with stomatitis and had to have the last of his teeth removed as well. Stomatitis is an inflammatory condition of the mouth and a full mouth extraction is the recommended treatment in most cases. Most cats show a marked improvement in comfort and quality of life following this procedure and Bullet is much happier as it stands having had his teeth removed. He is also having an extended course of anti-inflammatories to help him on the road to recovery.
