    Big John

BOSH, It's Big John here and I'm looking for someone to join me at the Blue Orchid for a Chinese! (Not really as cats should not be fed Chinese takeaway) This handsome boy is full of personality and is no stranger to a good chat and sitting on laps. He is a confident, affectionate young man who is looking for someone who he can talk about food with all day long. Due to his temperament, we believe that Big John would be fine to live with kids who can give him the playtime when he wants it and let him be his loveable self. So, if sweet and sour chicken (Hong Kong style), shredded chilli beef, kung po prawn, chips, prawn crackers, curry sauce and mini spring rolls sounds like a great night in for you and Big John, keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves…

    Other Notes

Big John arrived at Mayhew at the end of April after he was found abandoned. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. Big John arrived at Mayhew showing signs of cat flu. His symptoms included, some watery eyes, conjunctivitis and some congestion. We also noted some ulcers on his tongue. His flu symptoms have much improved and is no longer on any medication. He could have some flare-ups in the future so things should be monitored and treatment given if needed. he had a little bit of an upset stomach on arrival too but that's back to normal now.
