Handsome Stanley is a sweet, sociable and intelligent young lad with lots of love to give. He has a sensitive side to him and can show some initial worry when encountering new things but is keen to explore and learn about the world around him and gains confidence quickly. He is affectionate and very playful and loves to snuggle up on a lap at every opportunity. This cheeky chap is looking for an owner that will have the time and patience to continue with his training and socialisation and provide him with the mental and physical stimulation he needs to thrive. His adopters will be taking on at least a fifteen-year commitment, which must not be taken lightly. Stanley will make the most rewarding and loyal companion in the right home.

Stanley is looking for a home where there will be someone around for most of the day. He could potentially live in a flat providing he has quick access to a suitable outside space, for ease of toilet training. He could live with sensible, junior school age children, who will be consistent with his training and give him space when needed. He could live with a sociable adult dog who will be a good influence on him, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. He could also live with a dog-confident cat, providing his owner will facilitate slow intros and teach him not to chase! Stanley has been health checked, microchipped, will have received his first vaccination and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He will need to return to Mayhew on a specified date for neutering. Stanley has also been behaviourally assessed. Lastly, every dog adopted from us will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
