Sandy

Sweet Sandy is a super loveable, affectionate girl. She can be a bit shy to begin with but it doesn’t take long for her personality to shine through and to become your new best friend! She enjoys company and would like a home where she can cuddle up on the sofa with her favourite people! She can become worried at points so needs someone who is patient and understanding and will reassure her when needed. Sandy enjoys her walks and playing with doggy friends in the park. She is respectful of other dogs and can read their body language well. She will make a fun and loving companion for the right person or family.

Other Notes

Sandy will need regular grooming due to her breed type. With her sweet nature and fun personality, Sandy would make a great first-time dog for the right owner. They would need to be willing to put the time and effort into her ongoing training and socialisation and provide her with reassurance when needed. She is looking for a home where there will be someone around during the day, gradually building up to 1 – 2 hours left alone. Sandy could live with sensible teenagers of 16+. She could also potentially live with another dog, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. She could live in a flat, with access to a garden but she can be vocal at times so this should be taken into consideration. Sandy will be neutered before she goes home. She has been microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worming treatments. She has also been medically and behaviourally assessed.
