Max

Max is sweet natured, affectionate boy who enjoys spending time with people and going on adventures out and about. He would make the perfect little companion for someone who is willing to fulfil his physical and mental needs, as well as give him attention and cuddles on the sofa. Max is a social boy who is happy to interact and say hello to doggy pals and have the occasional play with the right match. He is so sweet and really deserves to find stability and a loving home again.

Other Notes

Max could live with secondary school age children providing they give him space when needed. He could potentially live with a calm, adult dog, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. Max could potentially live with a dog confident cat, provided new owners have the space and management in place to take introductions slow. His new owners will need to ensure he is groomed regularly and be aware of the financial costs that could come with this. Max has a low grade condition of patella luxation, where one of his knee caps is more mobile than normal. Max has had dental treatment while at Mayhew, where he had two teeth extracted and the rest cleaned. Max also had a small benign growth removed from under his tongue. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea & worming treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed. Lastly, every dog adopted from us will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
