    Callie

Sweet Callie is an affectionate girl with a sensitive nature. She can be nervous around new people but warms up when given time and space and loves nothing more than cuddling up on her favourite person’s lap! She enjoys going on walks in quiet, familiar surroundings but can become worried when encountering strangers or other dogs so will need her owner to offer guidance and reassurance when needed. She would suit a calm, quiet home with someone who has the time and patience to build up her confidence and support her ongoing training and would love to have a garden to zoom around in and make her own. In the right home, given the chance to flourish, this special girl will make a loyal and fun companion.

    Other Notes

Callie is ideally looking for a rural or semi rural home, where there will be someone around throughout the day, building up the time she is left on her own. She would suit an adult only home, without visiting children as she has been fearful at times, especially with new people and around sudden movements. Her new owner will be expected to continue her training and socialisation and will receive three free 1:1 sessions with our Mayhew Animal Behaviourist to help guide them. Due to her worries around strangers, she wears a muzzle on walks as a safety precaution. She could live in a flat as long as there is direct access to a private garden. Callie has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
