Spiro is just the best boy that ever was. This handsome one eyed bandit is a loveable rogue who is keen to enjoy as much fuss as he can get and will happily sit on your lap and snuggle in for more. The staff like to get Spiro cuddles if it's been a rough day and his friendly nature shines through whenever you meet him. He is a bit of a dribbler too and loves to nudge you for some extra cheek rubs when he meets you. He could live with kids who'll understand he is the sort of cat who likes to go with the flow and would welcome someone to hang out with. Medical conditions?Spiro arrived at Mayhew at the Start of November after his owner was no longer able to keep him any longer. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. During his stay Spiro has had his left eye removed. He had a cataract that was causing pain and had no sight in the eye as well so it was best to remove it in the long term. He is doing just fine since surgery and is still his loveable, cuddly self.
